An attempt to translate the text we were sent by Hotel Lamaçães regarding its conditions:

This 3 star hotel has 52 double rooms (4 of which are adapted for physical impaired people) with all the comodities of modern hotels, air conditioned, TV and internet connection in all bedrooms (we only have the connection, not the equipment) [I would also like to add that you have to pay to access the internet], private garage and others. We also have the possibility of having triple and quadruple bedrooms.

An attempt to translate the text we were sent by Hotel Carandá regarding its conditions:

The HOTEL RESIDENCIAL CARANDÁ is located in the centre of the city of Braga (100 meters from the Hotel Turismo). This 3 star hotel was completely remodeled in 2002.

It has 82 bedrooms (smoking and non-smoking), modernly decorated, living room with TV, breakfast room, 1 meeting/conference room and a private garage.

The 82 bedrooms, one of which adapted for phisycal impaired people, are equiped with satellite televition (44 channels + SPORT TV), direct telephone, air conditioned, complete bathroom, hairdrier and double glass windows.

An attempt to translate the text we were sent by Hotel Turismo regarding its conditions:

The HOTEL TURISMO DE BRAGA, an ample and confortable space, is located in the centre of the city of Braga. This 4 star hotel was completely remodeled in 2003. It has 132 bedrooms (smoking and non-smoking), underground parking facilities with capacity for 250 cars, restaurant, bar, external swimming pool with bar (open from May to September), living room and giant TV screen and 5 meeting/conference rooms with natural light, direct access to the internet and capacity of up to 250 people. [I think the "direct access to the internet" refers only to these meeting rooms]

The 132 bedrooms, among which 22 are junior suites, modernly decorated, are equiped with satellite television (44 channels + SPORT TV), direct telephone, air conditioned, mini-bar, complete bathroom and hairdried. The hotel also has two executive floors (40 bedrooms) with direct access to the internet [they claim it's direct access to the internet but, according to someone who called them and asked, they just have telephones].

Coming soon: Wireless in the reception, meeting rooms, bar, restaurant and living room.

So basically we have three designated hotels (of which we've only heard good things so far, from people who have stayed in them) and a list of other hotels (just in case you need it).
