Smylers is a Perl hacker for Donhost, a web hosting company based in Doncaster and Leeds which is now part of the PIPEX group. He was previously Head of Perl Training at GBdirect, where he taught Perl to Yahoo!, Microsoft, and Sony, among others, and was the lead developer for top UK IT news website The Register.
